I was forced to upgrade to 2013 when 2012 became corrupted. With some difficulty I figured out how to configure the Vault and updated about 50 logins. I had to restart a day later and now all I get is a rotating disc when I type in password that worked the day before. I have IE 8 and Xp. I login into Norton first before trying log in to Vault. Trying different approaches to loging in to vault often results in norton unloading and a sign by vault saying restart necessary. It at least brings back Norton Security.
The problem started two days ago.

What scans have you run to be sure that there are no 'nasties' present? If a full scan with your Norton product and another with Malwarebytes free scanner;

both come up clean I'd suggest using the Norton Remove and Reinstall Tool to be sure you have a clean copy of your Norton product.
