Viewing content of a Cloud backup

When looking at my backups on the Cloud the page says "Select a Backup to View and Download". I can click on a backup to select it but there is no action buttons to open it and view the contents. How can I view & restore the content of a backup?

You are welcome. Glad we could help.

Many thanks Peterweb, I have it now and can browse through my back ups.

You need to click on This PC in the left pane and then you should see the Norton Backup Drive. Double click on that then choose the backup set you wish to view.

Hi Permalink - thanks for the info. I have checked and my account is administrator.

Hi SA, I have set the Network Cost Awareness to No Limit but still cannot see the Norton Backup in file explorer.

Never mind, as a workaround I have found that if I select Cloud Backup > Restore then I can open a backup and view the files.

My account is administrator.

Hi SA, thanks for your response but I fell at the first hurdle - I don't have a Norton Backup Drive on my Windows file explorer :)

You need to be using a Windows Admin account to see the Norton Backup Drive in Windows Explorer.

You don't see this in your Windows file explorer? And did you check this setting in your firewall settings per the article?

To view the files in your cloud backup, you must set the Network Cost Awareness option in the Firewall Settings window to No Limit.
