I updated within the past few months to NIS 2009 - I was recently brought down by a severe virus/spyware attack, and Norton was essentially erased. I went to your website to install the trial software and then put in my key, but what I clicked on, Internet Security 2009, turned out to be Norton Antivirus. It blew away my firewall when it installed, and I am now left hanging in the breeze with no protection. Can someone here point me to the way to fix this? Quickly?
I am rather shocked that a Norton product could be so easily disabled and even erased by a virus! Sort of negates the importance of having it. I am also rather surprised that NIS profiles also missed (being up to date with the latest profiles within minutes) a whole bunch of malware that I had to use other products to rid my machine of!
