Have been using Norton products for many years. Took the free upgrade for Norton LifeLock 360, on windows 7, for the VPN. Was told current anti-virus program would update automatically, but eventually had to download the upgrade manually and now the vpn will not connect. Keep getting a message: error 809 - vpn is blocked. Is re-install the only answer?
Have switched off Norton anti-virus firewall. VPN still blocked.
Have turned OFF automatic re-newal following download of uprade. Would this stop VPN connecting?
Have Norton Utilities installed from earlier installation of Norton. Could this interfere with the VPN?
