VPN City locations not available in Norton 360 for Windows

On my IOS device Norton VPN allows city locations.

On my Windows devices only countries are available.

All are up to date.

I found Norton VPN Standard as a 30-day trial. But it states “Something went wrong - please try again later” with a request ID# when trying to download.

Norton AI chat and Google AI insist that city locations are available with Norton VPN for Windows.

Anyone have a solution for this?

Um, appears Norton VPN picked up my Norton 360 subscription (# days)…because I’m signed in to my Norton account.

So, I entered 30-day trial Key

fwiw ~ I’m not finding City level region selector
Lets ask @Napoleon to confirm Norton VPN Standard includes City level region selector
Hello @DanielTD
Maybe, my Norton VPN Standard trial install is borked? Maybe, I’d need to uninstall Norton 360 and then install Norton VPN Standard 30-day trial.
Maybe, I can ask Norton support?

I’m not finding asterisk* next to City level region selector

I’m not finding documentation that Norton VPN Standard cannot run along side Norton 360.
I’m not finding clue that Norton VPN Standard install will duplicate Norton 360 VPN features.

You install the version Norton Secure VPN. Try through the installer Norton VPN Standard.

Well, as per Norton support. I uninstalled Norton VPN Standard. I uninstalled Norton 360. I restarted a few times and scoured File Explorer & Registry. I installed Norton VPN Standard with the provided trial link. I was again asked to Sign In and Norton VPN Standard (again) picked up my Norton 360 days and I’m not finding City selector. I entered Norton VPN Standard trial key and still not finding City selector. Maybe, signing in to my Norton account…borks Norton VPN.

Uninstall and install from my link, then activate it with a trial key.

Does anyone have a Norton VPN Standard installer for 5 devices, which is for the USA?

Sign In is required to reach Norton VPN Standard user interface.

How do you remove Norton products? Use Norton Remover for this: https://www.norton.com/nortonremover

Okay…with @Napoleon link…I was offered Enter a Key.

So, the Norton VPN Standard installer offered me via trial is wrong/borked?

Yeah…that’s not causal. I had a clean uninstall. I did run Norton 360 Remover tool, too.

According to your link, it’s not Norton VPN Standard, but its previous version Norton Secure VPN.

Well, that’s the link supplied to me with trial and every window/page says Norton VPN Standard

The name of the installer itself and when it is launched indicates that it is a Norton Secure VPN. This is left over from the old tariff plan system. https://web.archive.org/web/20241203182831/https://us.norton.com/products/norton-vpn#planschart

and now trying to install my Norton 360 along side @Napoleon Norton VPN Standard

Norton VPN Standard installer offered with 30-day trial is lacking?
Norton documentation is lacking.
Norton support is lacking.

Hello @Napoleon
Thanks again for helping us with Norton VPN.

They recently released a listing for Norton VPN 25.7 for Windows, which still mentions Norton Ultra VPN Ultimate, which is not part of the plans.

Norton Ultra VPN Ultimate

Yeah, wasn’t Ultra their branding last year?
https://investor.gendigital.com/news/news-details/2024/New-Norton-VPN-Lineup-Delivers-Ultra-Protection/default.aspx

https://community.norton.com/t/is-there-a-norton-ultra-vpn/389889

It was originally Norton Ultra VPN, then renamed Norton VPN Ultimate, and Norton Ultra VPN Ultimate never existed in nature at all.

Norton proof reader was out sick that day.

They themselves do not know what their current tariff plans are, they stupidly copy old information and confuse users. The same applies to installers that contain both Norton Secure VPN and Norton Ultra VPN… Although it’s almost a year since there are no such things.
