VPN not connecting Mac OS

Issue abstract: issue with newly installed VPN on Mac

Detailed description: Error message when I try to connect. I have followed the instructions on the Support site, uninstalled the VPN a few times; I also reinstalled Norton 360 (didn’t make any difference). Reinstalled. Each time a new install created a new config in Mac Settings. I suspect these were conflicting with the new installs.

I have removed the VPN configurations that were not needed. Did a fresh install. Restarted the Mac. Then opened the VPN. Followed all the on screen prompts….and I am still not connecting.

I have tried a different region. doesn’t connect.

I tried signing out. On sign in it told me I didn’t have enough seats, so it was assuming I was on a new device !!!

I deleted one and started over. Still not connecting.

Would anyone have any solutions to this problem please? Does Norton need to create a new updated VPN?

What is the error message you are seeing? VPN Connection Error VPN is having trouble connecting to the server. Please try again.

I use integrated VPN of Norton 360, so I have not had to deal with this issue. Can you try contacting Norton support via chat? They should be able to help you with this issue.

Are you using standalone Norton VPN app, or is it part of the Norton 360 plan?

It looks like he is using standalone VPN. The UI for integrated VPN for Norton 360 is quite different.
