Using WIFI protection on my Win 10 machine Google blocks my email and some other sites block certain access (change of password for example). It seems that the sites can detect that there is a difference between the VPN address and my actual location. To test, I did a simple Google search and received results in German from Austria, where I am located, rather than Ireland, where the VPN was set to say I was located. I don't have the same problems on my ipad. Does anyone else have this issue? or better, a solution? Thanks
I haven't used Norton WiFi Privacy but I know with my VPN I need to change my DNS settings on my machine so that I'm not using my ISP's DNS. I also have to disable IPv6 and it doesn't hurt after doing all that to empty your browser cache and flush the DNS.
