VPN Not visable option 360 premium

Running windows 10, Norton 360 premium:

VPN service not an option on This PC.  6 other PCs/mobile devices are running VPN. I have tried downloading and installing again, but I still don't have VPN as an option.

Purchased "retail"?  Where? How?

You should READ what is included in Premium for yourself. I think it says VPN SERVICE is !

I purchased this product retail to extend my subscription from deluxe plus (thought it was an upgrade) .   The RENEWAL costs for Deluxe plus were significantly higher than a retail product.

What's going on with NORTON these days? Are you so  hungry that you forget long time customers, just to make a buck?

Your  IT staff are also incompetent. Get some AMERICAN speaking technicians, not SPANISH or INDIAN  and train them on the products !

So I wonder where PREMIUM went.  I Plan on letting my current subscription lapse and the buy another A/V product.  Sad since I've been a Norton fan and user for probably 2 decades are more.

What geographic market are you in. Norton has made some changes to where certain features are available.

 

Norton 360 Standard through Select ALL have the VPN. The representative either needs re-training or was being condescending for a sell-up. Either way they didn't know their tasks.

I was able to actually have a phone conversation with a Norton representative a few minutes ago!!

You know what she told me? NORTON 360 PREMIUM DOES NOT INCLUDE SECURE VPN!!

It's advertised as one of it's features, so I guess I'm out of luck since the Norton Rep. doesn't even know what the product provides.

Maybe it time for a new antivirus provider. I've tired of all the Popup's from Norton anyway.

Yes.  I now find that NONE of my PCs has VPN option.  But, I have 4 mobile devices that DO have VPN service active.

How does one actually contact a Norton customer service rep.? Is the 'community' the ony way to report a problem?

The community is indeed a part of support. There are many here, who donate their time and experience as I do, who have the proper experience and technical experience to work with customers in ways regular support falls short with. 

My suggestions are:

1- Ensure you are logging into the computer under an account with admin privileges.

 *Make sure you reboot the device when settings have been changed

  • To only remove your Norton device security product, click Advanced Options and then click Remove Only. *Recommended 

Follow on screen prompts to restart your machine. Afterwards log into your Norton account to reinstall your Norton product and run live updates to install all patches that are available. Make sure you reboot as each patch is installed whether prompted to do so or not. This will ensure the patches are installed separately and completely. Re-check for the original issue persisting.

Norton seems to want more money for LIFE GUARD and the like (KEEP GETTING POP-UPS) but doesn't know how to take care of it's long time customers.  I mean, how do you contact someone with a problem? GO TO THE COMMUNITY!!! That's not SUPPORT!

Hello Ken. Have you ran live update on the Norton product installed until no more are available and rebooted?
