My Windows 11 settup includes several mapped disks, derived from NAS units. Applying Norton VPN Ultra prevents access to to these disks. The block / release is virtually immediate when you apply / pause VPN.

Issue abstract
There is an option in the VPN Settings to allow access to devices on your network. Click on Privacy in the left pane and then on Secure VPN. Click the Settings tab and turn on Access Local Devices with VPN. Then test.

All: Wondering whether the connection/network type being set to “Public” vice “Private” may be a part of the issue?
