VPN Turns Off?

Hi There:

I had to reset my wife's computer (Windows 10 Home 2004, 64-bit). I re-installed Norton 360 but I have two questions.

1) I turned on Norton VPN, but every time I reboot or shut down the computer it turns off again and I have to go back in and turn it back on. Is that expected?

2) On the main Norton LifeLock screen it say subscription enabled, but beside that it says Sign in. If I try to sign in it spins its wheels for a while and says "Communicating with the Norton server" but then it ends up at Cannot Connect to the Norton server...

Mike.

Hi Marcia Nelson Pedde,

I'm just following up to see if you've been able to resolve your issue related to signing in through the user interface or if you're still in need of any assistance?

Hi Marcia Nelson Pedde,

1) I turned on Norton VPN, but every time I reboot or shut down the computer it turns off again and I have to go back in and turn it back on. Is that expected?

Yes, this is normal.  You will also want to check if your PC went into hibernation mode.

2) On the main Norton LifeLock screen it say subscription enabled, but beside that it says Sign in. If I try to sign in it spins its wheels for a while and says "Communicating with the Norton server" but then it ends up at Cannot Connect to the Norton server...

Please try Right Clicking the Norton Icon in the system tray (yellow circle with check mark), selecting  "Open Norton"  (not Open My Norton).  This should Open Norton's Classic Interface.  If you don't see it, click show hidden Icons as shown in below pic.
