Erik- Thanks lots for the reply.  I have not changed any “triggers”, it just started doing this… what are the typical trigger settings I should use… this is only a simple PC in the kitchen that my wife uses for email, shopping, recipes, etc. so nothing real serious in scale.

For simple use, I would just ensure that you have a schedule set up via incemental backups.  If there isn't high risk of system failure, weekly should be fine and will cut down on activity.  Possible triggers are as follows:

Schedule (daily, weekly, etc)

Any time a program is installed

When a set percentage of the system has changed

This will be under the "when to backup" portion of the backup job's settings.

Within the past few days, my PC CPU has been at 100% in the morning… and when I look at my Task Manager, it seems that vprosvc.exe is using 100% of the CPU… and it is my assumption that sometime during the night, when Ghost runs, somehow this process gets “stuck”… anyone have a recommendation?  Can I (or should I) remove vprosvc.exe from the Program folder?  Not sure what exactly it does, but it is a pain right now…  many thanks

VProSvc is the service that Ghost uses in order to perform a backup/restore/etc.  If you are seeing heavy usage all the time, I would look to your triggers.  What have you configured your backup jobs to be triggered on?  That can very easily lead to a high number of backup operations occuring if the triggers are too sensitive based on your computer usage.
