i was recently scammed by a company called vsupport llc who pretended to be norton and offered me 5 years norton security plus additional software to protect my ip number - didn't realise anything was wrong for a few days until norton contacted me to say that a change had been made to my account -- the money that vsupport wanted was due to leave my bank on the 31st oct -- realised something was badly wrong by then and cancelled my card --- since then i have had emails and phone calls from vsupport -- pay your account -- i dont answer the emails and hang up the phone but it's driving me mad -- surely i can just ignore these tricksters?
the trouble started when i couldn't reinstall norton -- didn't know what to do so i presses the support button -- the screen opened up to a list of numbers to call -- i chose uk number --ll throughout the call with them they pretended to be norton -- took control of my laptop etc -- my norton was reinstalled by the way -- has anyone has similar experiences --and can i ignore these scammers
