Hi Tony,

I don't believe it is the same as W32.Fujacks.E as Nortons does not see the virus (or worm). The infection is on an CD which Nortons does not detect. If Mcafee or AVG is used, W32/Fujacks.s is detected and highlighted.

Regards

Tim

But did you try what Tony said?

How did you discovered that you were infected by this trojan?

Not yet. I am at work and the machine is home.

Was planning to investigate when home. I have now read the doc Tony has posted and note it implies the trojan can inhibit a virus checker finding it.

AVG found the virus when I put the web cam CD install disk is another machine and was reading the read file on the CD. I had not installed the application on this machine.  I have installed the aplication on my home machine.

Nortons internet security 2008 is not detecting W32/Fujacks.s -  Other virus detection software is detecting and cleaning

What McAfee is calling W32/Fujacks.s, Symantec is calling W32.Fujacks.E. Below are the remove directions for this worm:

Is this the threat you're referring to? Please let me know if I've misunderstood the threat that has been detected.
