Waiting to retry sync

I have had a message "waiting to retry sync". This is on my desktop PC. I have been a nortonzone user from the launch of the beta version. For the most part I am happy with it, except for this problem. This is the 3rd time in the past year that the sync hangs up. I have it installed on 2 other laptops and my Android, all of which are currently fine. I had this problem a few months ago on one of the laptops. The only way I can get it to sync again and give the "green check" is to uninstall and reinstall.

While I certainly can probably do this again, I was wondering if anyone else is having this issue and if there is a repair download or update download to solve this.

 

For the record:

I only have 1% of 25GB used space.

I can right click Icon and access folder, pause sync, and all else, but when I resume sync, the message says waiting to retry sync.

I have restarted PC, allowed it to stay in this state for past 3 weeks as I was traveling for Holidays.

I really don't want to keep uninstalling and reinstalling to fix this, as we all know how windows can be with this type of behavior.

I am running Windows 7 64-bit
