Web site is ownership verified - Untested Question Mark still appearing

Hi there,

 

I am having a similar issue as User: Jaycee.  I registered, I activated via email, I copied the norton authentication file in my root directory, the site is confirmed ownership verified however the "untested" question mark is still appearing. I have subscribed for a rating change, however haven't received confirmation that my request was received. Addtionally, I understand from reading user posts that the issue often takes longer than 14 days. Can you kindly confirm that my "change rating" request is logged in the system andwhat are the next steps to have the site rating green?

Thanks for your quick response. No, I have not waited 14 days since ownership verfication, I was just concerned that it would take a little a longer, so I wanted to flag it early. What is the approximate turn- around-time until the site can be rated as green?

Hi Carol,

 

It can take between 10 and 14 days for your website to receive the appropriate checkmark. Please wait during this time. If your website has not been evaluated after 14 days, please notify us of this and post the URL of your website, that way it can be verified manually. Thank you for your patience :-)

You’re welcome - please post back to tell us when you receive the green checkmark, and if you don’t receive it after 14 days, notify us of this.
