I use mozilla and run addons that eliminate most cookies so I rarely get them. I just ran a scan and a tracking cookie popped up that I have never seen before. It was called:
tracking cookie: Cookie: username@m.webtrends.com
I know its kinda stupid to be worried about a tracking cookie but I am kind of wondering because I have never seen it before. Thank you

Hi cjames8033,
You are right that it is a tracking cookie. A Google search turns this up - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Webtrends. You should be able to block it by opening the Privacy Tab and include it in the Blocked sites list. I hope this helps.
I went through old scans with tracking cookies and saw this one pop up a few months ago. I have never been to that website but I guess other sites can give this tracking cookie also. Thank you again for the reply.
Thanks for the feedback. Yep, I downloaded Windows Live Essentials 2011 a while back and had atdmt.com tracking cookie, also after logging in to my Google account I had doubleclick.net plus others. Just depends, I think, on who companies use for marketing.

I have also received this tracking cookie. I added this to my Firefox 16.0.2 Blocked sites list. Unfortunately the username@m. gets deleted in the process and only webtrends.com is added to the Blocked sited list, so the cookie gets through.

Sorry, I erred in that reply. Here is a corrected version:

As an update, I have just added webtrends.com (without m.) to the list. That might work, but I think that it is the lack of surname@ in the Blocked list that is causing the problem.
