What a nuisance!

Now there's this magnificent idea from some brilliant mind... Whenever I get out of the country and need to get support, be it for asking a warranty question or even renew my product, even if I start from within my own Norton Account, I invariably get switched to a page in a foreign language... This is absolutely ludicrous!... 

I have a limited understanding of French or Spanish but I still manage to navigate to change the address to "/en-us/" and get to a page in English. So far I have been lucky. But I fear for the day when I will get a page in Greek... or Russian...or Chinese!!!... I don't need Symantec to give me help I DO NOT ask for and help I don't need... If they would only give me the help I ask for and DO need!...  

Please!... Is anyone able to reach to the golden towers of Symantec and ask how (or when or why not) can one poor soul just landed in a foreign land, with a strange language, keep settings in his/her machine that assures access in the same language of the OS or the IP, for example, or any other of his/her own choice, but not necessarily a language of which he/she may not be able to tell a flea from a camel? (Linguistically speaking, of course...)
