In past years I have renewed by purchasing a boxed copy of Norton Internet Security from Amazon.co.uk or Currys and simply entered the new license key, ie not used the cd in the box. I plan to do the same this year to renew my product (currently v2012) I recall there used to be a PC version (with a cd) and a netbook version (without a cd). Is this still the case and if so how can I differentiate between them just by looking at the box? I am asking as I like to have the cd just in case anything goes wrong, but a shop assistant told me that whilsty Norton 360 comes on a cd , the NIS2013 box only contains the license key and that the product itself must be downloaded.
