My Account shows Safe Web and Safe SMS ( on mobile devices only ) as the 2 protections.

Yes, I have those 2 set up already but that counts as one according to the support. I do not have the norton browser set to default so I guess that is the other half. I did download the browser though. Do you have the norton browser enabled? The frontline support is not very good at Norton these days. Not very helpful. Seems to have been better in the past. I cannot get good answers and they seem shady at times. I dont feel confident with them. Used to be better and I seem to have more issues now.

No. I do not have the Norton browser set up on my PC or my iOS. But my Genie protection shows the 2/2.
Yeas, i have the top 2 protections shown on that page w a check. That counts as 1 according to the support guy. I dont have norton browser as my default so i guess that is why i am 1/2.
The Norton Browser does not count against my Genie score.
Be sure you are signed into your Norton Account in the 360 app.
You might want to try a Repair on your 360 installation. From the main 360 interface, click on Settings > Troubleshooting and then click on Repair Norton. Let that run and then restart your computer and test. Restart, not shutdown and startup again.
Ok, thanks.. the support person did not seem very knowledgeable and was almost making things up as we went. Maybe it something on my phone. Not sure I trust there front line support at all anymore. He was wrong about a few things and at one point said the backup issue would be resolved in 48 hours and then said, oh the blue arrow in a file means it was edited and is fine. But it shldve been backed up by now …last touched in 2022. I wish the support was better. Even his manager wasnt very good.
The app looks fine but always have issues to review w texts. Gets to be a nuisance. Not sure why this says 1 of 2. Need a good support person but they dont seem to know much.
Why do i see these 4 blank circles when I respond to email notifications on my phone?
So, today, I got a tech support guy with 5 yrs experience. He said that the pc shows 1/2 because on pc you dont have SMS only safe web. On my phone , genie says 2/2. But then after an uninstall, reinstall for another issue and also he ran a repair, it now says 2/2 on the pc. So, I think this product is just a little bit shaky at times. I knew something seemed off when I saw that 1/2. I often get explanations and I am not sure if they are correct or not. I am still not sure why some of my files dont get backed up and Norton doesnt really know either.

the tech did the repair norton on my pc. That didnt help this issue. I still see 4 blank circles there when i go to this site from phone email. Why are they blank. The rightmost one is the reply. At least i know that. Maybe it is because i have an older phone… S10 android.
Did the support rep look into the blank buttons on your mobile?
I just checked on my Samsung A15 on Android 15, and my iPhone SE 3 on iOS 18.6.2 and I see the same thing that is in your image. So this appears to be an issue with the mobile version of the web page.
I’ll escalate this issue so the correct team is made aware of the issue.

not so fast on the genie protections. I think this software just isnt very good. At one point it said 2 of 2 protections with green check on my norton on pc and then now it says 0 of 0. This is weird. Cant really depend on this tool. It is strange and the protection alert says i havent scanned in 30 days but all scans ran today. Also, i ran quick scan a few minutes ago but this says i ran it 11 days ago. This software needs work. it is flakey. The Genie Protection now shows 1 of 2. Each time i call in they give me different reasons. Some say it is because no Private browser used and some say it is because the PC doesnt review SMS. But then why did it say 2 of 2 for several days. THis is not good. I am tired of the issues with this product. Wastes lots of my time. The support has different answers..no consistency.
