What does it mean when Norton says the status is blocked? I got, Auto-protect detected infostealer.gamepass status blocked...not sure what "blocked" means. Any help would be nice. Thank you.

Hello onejay30
Welcome to the Norton Users Discussion Forum
It means that Auto-protect saw that infostealer.gamepass was trying to get into your computer and it blocked it or stopped it from getting into your computer.
Thanks for the fast reply. My main concern is, is my computer safe to use. I don't go to any questionable web sites, so I get nervous when Norton says I have a security risk... I guess I should of came up with a better subject line.
Since the Norton program has already removed the virus completely and informs that no further action is required from your side, you are safe to go. If you need, you can double-check this by running a scan from Norton program in Safe Mode. First run LiveUpdate repeatedly from your Norton program until you receive all the updates. Then restart your computer, and boot into Safe Mode. Double-click on Norton icon to start the scan. Let us know the results.

Hello onejay30
To make sure your computer is clean, I would run a full scan with the free version of Malwarebytes.
Download the free version, install and update then run a FULL scan. After the scan completes you should post the logs back to this thread.
You can find Malwarebytes here
http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/
It is a safer location to get the program from than malwarebytes themselves because some malware creators have large lists of sites that they block. Please be careful to down load the correct program ----the FREE version of MALWAREBYTES
(Thanks to Delph for providing the alternative site)
Norton Antivirus Auto-Protect Blocked this Threat from being Created, so, yes, your computer is Secure from that particular Threat and your computer is Safe to use. However, to make sure that there are no other Threats on your computer which Norton Failed to Detected, I would advise you to follow the steps provided by other Community Members. Also, if you suspect that a File on your computer is a Threat with which Norton does not have a Signature for, you can Submit the File(s) to symantec Security Response via this Web Link: https://submit.symantec.com/websubmit/retail.cgi. Safe, and Happy, Surfing!

Edit:
What is you O.S. and Norton Product Version? You can find the Version Number by going to Help & Support on the Main User Interface of your Norton Product, and then to "About", and please post the "Version:" Numbers. Thank-You.
