What is the actual function of Norton Privacy Monitor Assistant?

Norton used to send me a report telling me which data brokers have my information and would try to opt me out of as many as they could except the ones that required me to do it personally. My latest report shows intelius + 38 affiliates have my information. If I am reading it right, I have to make all the requests myself. I tried to get support to help, but what I read on a Norton website is that “Norton Privacy Manager Assistant and support will end on April 30, 2021.” I take it that Norton changed its’ mind because my account states “Active”. Can someone tell me how NPMA works? I tried to talk to someone, but I can’t find a support phone number,

I must have confused Norton Privacy Monitor with Norton Privacy Monitor Assistant which I subscribe to. When I look at the email it only shows Itelius. When I go to the " Opting out of a data broker for Privacy Monitor", There are 21 sites shown with a link to the opt out site, which is unavailable.(https://www.backgroundalert.com/optout/) ( Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site). I may be mixing apples and oranges. Do I just have to manually check Intelius or all the sites?

Sorry, I’ve don’t run Privacy Monitor/Assistant.
