When browser is open, mouse cursor keeps flashing the 'busy' circle

Hello everyone,

I just installed 360 and am having a weird issue. Whenever I open up Chrome my mouse cursor starts flashing with the little blue circle indicating something is processing. But only after actually connecting to the internet ie going to any url (my browser starts with a speed dial screen). I checked with Firefox and the issue is not present there. I tried Chrome both with and without the Norton Safe Web plugin.

I have a laptop with the same version of Chrome and the same plugins (synced) and the problem is not present there either. What could be causing this? I have attached a video of what the cursor looks like, rename the extension back to mp4 to see it. I tried temporarily closing down or uninstalling anything that may be different on this PC vs my laptop but haven't found the culprit. Also tried to reinstall 360 but that did not solve it either.

Any help with this would be appreciated!

This problem seems more related to a recent Windows 10 feature update and the fact the Windows people want to gather more and more data. I don't like it either but with the latest stream of "end of life updates" it slid through my windows update blocks.

Have your checked the driver version for the problem PC's graphics card? If it is up to date, you could try reverting to an older driver version to see if it resolves your problem. The latest is not always the greatest.

Yes, both are fully updated windows 10 systems. My laptop has an iGPU while my PC with the problem houses are RTX3080.

Are your Windows versions identical? Both fully updated?

What graphics cards are in each computer? Are the drivers up to date?
