New to the forums but not to Norton Internet Security. Have used it for years until now when I am fed up! Four phone calls to men in India who lied to me about return phone calls. One uninstall and reinstall and still the problem remains. Woke up this morning to the same thing. Happens every 4 days. The red x on the norton icon and your computer may be at risk. Firewall and antivirus both disabled.
Looked at my history and it just happened as I tried to open my browser. Only solution is to restart my computer. The everything is back to normal.
My clock is set correctly. Have had norton auto fix. Everything appears normal. Computer is XP, browser Firefox, latest version norton 20.2.0.19
And might I add that the uninstall, reinstall was performed remotely by a norton tech. And just ran Live Update five minutes ago.
History this morning showed me that two error reports were sent to Norton from my computer. What do I have to do go get this fixed?
