When will Norton 360 with its toolbar be compatible with Firefox 8?

 

I just upgraded to Firefox 8 today.

Norton never gives dates for updates ..... but if you scan the Forums here you will get a lot of guidlines including reports that people have received the update to Norton ... CHeck NIS and N360

i to would like to know the answer to this question, i don't want to upgrade and then my toolbar not work, any help would be appreciated

It has in the past. In the past, it has said that it expected to have the toolbar complete by X date.

 

Can someone add value by answering the question by providing an estimate as to when the update will be available?

N360 will be compatible about 6 hours ago :)

Hello Stecyk,

 

It would appear that by definition, only a well informed (and probably brave) member of Norton staff can answer your question authoritatively.  So the proof (or not) of huwyngr's comment will be in any reply you get from them.  

 

But I don't think any of us volunteers can do any more than speculate.  And that is not what you seem to want.

And when I posted they had not posted that message so since they never post a date when they will post a date .....

 

If you'd asked for a guess I would have told you today but I'm not Norton and you did not ask for a guess ...... I did suggest you look around in the other Forums ..

Thank you. I had installed Firefox version 8 and had run live update without changes taking effect. I read through your documentation and "enabled" the missing add-ons. Norton's Add-ons now functioning properly.

 

I appreciate Norton having their updates ready when Firefox releases new versions. Thank you for your prompt reply.
