It's all very good to offer security (of some sort) on our computers. But our children are starting to browse the internet via their Ipod Touchs. There is absolutely no protection or filters on these devices.
Already my son has gotten some strange correspondence from others offering to be his "friend" without the slightest clue about who he is other thatn the few facts he posted on Facebook (which account he also established without my knowledge by using his Ipod). His Ipod was a gift from his grandparents who had no idea what they were giving him.
And then there's the issue of phones, but at least with those parents have the option of not offering browser capabilities.
