Hello Johnny

You can go back to the post and edit out your email address within the hour you made the post. Otherwise I will ask a mod to remove it. Thanks.

I think so, yes.

All I see is the standard Junk Email button - it would appear that no Norton bar or icons appear in Outlook 2010 (64 bit) - see below.

This is completely "normal". The toolbar is not supported by the 2011 products in Outlook 2010 64-bit. Maybe in later versions.

Also Microsoft itself do not recommends using Office 2010 64-bit on average systems, only if you use it for the special tasks like opening large Excel files and managing big computing jobs etc.

Hello again

Thank you for the links - interesting reading.

However, luckily for me I have a much better than average system and I use 64 bit software in a professional capacity for my gainful employment.

I do a lot of heavy data processing using SQL Server and so on.

With the greatest respect I think your response is a somewhat lame excuse to fob me off asking a perfectly reasonable question in a polite, courteous and professional manner.

I have to say this is unsatisfactory and quite unacceptable from the professional company that gave us such gems as PC Tools.

You would do well not to alienate the people who help pay your mortgage, i.e. the customers.

Yours, most disgruntled,  :smileymad: considering using alternative software entirely now!

I do hope your supervisor eyeballs this.

Hello Johnny Reaction

This is a user to user Forum. We do not work for Symantec unless you see names in Red. We are all volunteers here trying to help fellow users. We are customers of Symantec products also and we are trying to help the users of Norton products.. I'm sure no disrepect was meant to you and sorry if you interpret it as such.

In which case please accept my abject apologies.
