Which EMT or EEP or NVP is better?

I want to know which feature is better for maximum protection for Internet Explorer 11 below:

1. Enhanced Protected Mode

2. Enhanced Mitigation Experience Toolkit 4.1 or 5.0 Technical Preview

3. Norton Vulnerability Protection (Plug-in/Add-on)

Will Browser protection still work if NVP add-on is disabled?

Hi, danielcg. EMET is a strong tool which will protect you well. I'd suggest using that, and disabling Enhanced Protected Mode in IE.

Keeping NVP enabled, is the best way to protect yourself heuristically with Norton.

That's the way I would go. Others may have different opinions. There are several EMET users who may comment here.

Any thoughts on Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit (I use 0.10.3.0100) as an alternative to EMET?  A simpler way to get anti-exploit protection .. with virtually no configuration required.

Hi, CeeBee. Some users here are using MalwareBytes in real time and they report no conflicts so far, so you could try that combination.

I believe Anti Exploit is still in beta, so I would advise caution.

Thanks.  I use Malwarebytes Anti-Malware on demand only.  Anti-Exploit runs as a service in real time and, so far, no conflicts.  Yes, it's still beta .. but the version I use seems to be okay.  The prior one crashed Quicktime...

I think NVP is enough for most of us.

I vote for EMET, which has just been updated today to  4.1 Update 1.

Edit : There is no reason NOT to use NVP as well.

Hello

All versions of IE from version 6 up to 11 have been patcched if you  have used Windows Update which also includes XP for this update. For some, you have to make sure that another patch is installed first to prrevent IE from crashing under certain versions..
