I own a..
HP MINI Netbook
WIndows XP Home Edition SP3
Intel Atom
1.6 GHz 1GB RAM
60GB HDD
The basics of basics as goes for Netbooks.
No Anti-Virus or Internet Security installed.
Deep Freeze by Faronics is installed. I believe if works wonderfully for netbooks since not much is really downloaded and installed. It keeps my system fresh with each reboot.
I went to my local Walmart today and noticed they had Norton Internet Security 2009 for Netbooks Edition.

I searched on the Symantec website and there isn't anything listed about this version. I went to customer support, and of course, no one I talked to online knew anything of it. I know this is a legitimate version of NIS09, but I want to find out more about it.
I read a few forums about it, as well as this forum, but not much information about it. Mostly positive and negative reviews.
How well does NIS09 Netbook Edition work?
Does it use much recourses while active?
Will Deep Freeze effect NIS since each time I reboot my system, it refreshes my HDD?
I am able to disable Deep Freeze and update my system when need be, and I noticed NIS is always checking for updates and scanning websites as well as my system, any ideas if Deep Freeze will effect NIS performance?
