first post. and its not a nice one.
today i spent £50 on NORTON INTERNET SECURITY 2009
since i got the RAPIDANTIVIRUS trojan yesterday.
ok so i installed it and ran it....it found NOTHING,not even 1 malicious ad,spyware or nothing...yet the virus was on my desktop in 2 icons and in the bottom right hand corner flashing saying i was infected etc etc....
i phoned the so called helpline who wanted another £69 to fix it... yeah,thanks for that... it doesnt say that on the box does it?
why not sell a WORKING product for £119 at least that would be honest.
anyway this virus i still have on my system, RAPIDANTIVIRUS.... just google it. it seems thousands of folk have got it there are some youtube videos about it too...yet THE WORLDS LEADING VIRUS PROTECTING SOFTWARE NORTON doesnt even recognise it?
so...this means some teenage computer nerd has had you over...fooled you,out smarted you. and you dont do a thing about it.
can i find a patch,removal tool on your site after spending £50? errrr NO!
like i said to the two so called "support" staff....thanks for nothing.
at the end of the day your selling us a product under false pretenses,cos it doesnt do the job its supposed to do.
i have had freeware products that have detected even the slightest adware etc.... yet when i run a FULL SYSTEM SCAN with your product it takes just 3 MINUTES! and scans only 4930 items!!!! when freeware programms scan in the tens of thousands.
The only reason i went out and bought this norton disc is cos i was at my wits end with this virus,i thought surely if i buy this norton product it will sort it out...
HOW WRONG I WAS.
