In the last few days I have found that my PC will not connect to the internet unless I do a restart. Why has this happened and how do I fix it, please?

My network adapter has a hard time making an automatic connection when I cycle Norton 360 Secure VPN.
Hello L BRADBURY. First, how is this related to Norton? What is your Windows 10 version and build?
My suggestion is to run DISM commands to check for file corruption in your Windows install. Here is how to do that:
Repair Windows Update Errors:

Repair a Windows Image

Please post your progress so we can follow up.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I have not installed or removed any programs. I'm not sure what you mean by resetting my adaptor. At one point I was desperate to get the internet back so I did switch off the router, then switched it back on and allowed a few minutes for it to show that it was ready. I still had to restart my PC and then all was well. Every time I shut down, the problem is back when I next come to switch on my PC and log in.
could be several reasons
have you installed or removed any programs?
it could be a simple fix as just resetting your adapter
