Why does NIS 21.1.0.18 take so long to show up in bottom taskbar at boot up?

Curious about this. Machine is running Windows 8.1 64 bit.

FGW, this thread may fill in some details. Norton has been aware of the slow icon loading, and as Krusty says setting Boot Time Protection to Aggressive, does seem to speed up the icon loading. This is the setting I'm using, also.
