I’m using a Samsung SM-G935U (7 edge). Firmware version is NRD90M.G935UUEU4BQD2. Version 7. I have NMS set to scan every week and yet, not only does it scan at every boot-up (understandable but annoying as it is a resource hog and slows down the boot time), it scans my phone and SD card multiple times a day. And by multiple I mean a few times an hour. I know that it scans new apps but I don’t install new apps very often.
Can someone PLEASE help me figure out this problem.
Thanks,
Mitch
It is my understanding the a scan will run after a LiveUpdate. And LiveUpdate will run when your device connects to a different network. So It is possible that your phone could be connecting to a wifi network and then when that connection is no longer available, a cell data network may be connected. So each time, you switch, the LiveUpdate/Scan routine gets run.
If you think this could be what is happening, see if there is a way you can restrict which network or network type your device uses.
