Why I left Norton

Following reasons why I left norton:

T1 support probably couldn't tell you where the power button on there own computer is.
T2 I have nothing to say because if i have problems its typically beyond there ability, though i go through the motions.
T3 Still waiting to hear from the tech.

Next, after doing tread watch, all norton does is scan file names not much else.
Few things it does have is a grey list (Black and White list) vs White list and force verify.
Waits too long to rescan files.
VERY poor file discrimination program, i got tired of submitting false positives, and submitting thing that should be counted as positives or negatives, I was having to do more work than the program was.

Packet sniffer reveals that the product sends proprietary encoded lettering/format/language, but is no where near encrypted. No its not, don't try to dispute. (i have notified norton more than 30 days ago, so its legal for me to state this on your site).

T1 support needs training (lots of it, probably couldn't find the power-button on there tower if you pointed at it)
T2 nice folks trained though typically when i have problems its above there head, but none the less i go through the motions
T3 Still waiting to hear from them.

Corporate office has deflected issues.

Norton runs unnecessary cycles to appear busy.

overall, I would rate, Norton product a scam.
