I am being bombarded with fake security warnings, three of which are shown below. I have Microsoft Defender which blocks real security problems.
I accuse Norton of bombarding me with these fake warnings to sell me their product.
Am I right? How can I stop Norton from doing this?

Next, I'd like to thank all of you who provided a solution. Much appreciated.
Care to share "FAKE security alerts" solution?
First I apologise for blaming Norton. I was wrong.

Finally, as I understand it, I can only mark one reply as the solution - some communities allow up to three - so I've marked _bjm's as the answer.
The alerts you are seeing appear to be coming from your Edge browser's protection features. Any warnings from Norton would have the Norton logo.
Or if you are being redirected to these fake messages, you need to install an ad blocker in your browser(s). Norton does not block redirects because there are many sites that use redirects for legitimate purposes. Norton uses redirects all the time.

Another one is below. I'm not going to waste my time posting any more. I'm still being bombarded with this nonsense.

Will someone please tell Norton to stop this cheap nonsense.
I'm thinking "this" is not from Norton -
Microsoft Edge: If you are seeing pop-ups from sites, even when you aren't online, this may be a permission granted to the browser.
Try -> edge://settings/content/all ... review which sites have permissions and remove unwanted.
Microsoft Edge: edge://settings/content/popups ... Select Pop-ups and redirects > Move the Block toggle to On.

Captcharesolving-universe.com is a deceptive web-site that uses social engineering techniques to lure users into subscribing to push notifications from malicious (ad) push servers. Push notifications are originally designed to alert the user of recently published content. Cyber criminals abuse ‘push notifications’ to avoid antivirus and ad-blocking applications by displaying annoying ads. These ads are displayed in the lower right corner of the screen urges users to play online games, visit suspicious web-pages, install browser extensions & so on.
