I'm using Ghost for weekly backups of two drives. I was using a Seagate uxternal USB FreeAgent drive but discovered it didn't have enough space to accommodate both drives. So I upgraded to a Western Digital external USB Passport Essential SE with more room. The problem I ran into was when I clicked the Windows icon "Safely Remove Hardware" and selected the FreeAgent drive and then the Stop button. I got the message "The device 'Generic volume' cannot be stopped right now. Try stopping the device again later." No, there was no disk activity happening on the FreeAgent. I finally just pulled the plug on it and got the warning beep. (Plugged in the new drive and it's working fine.) Any tips on why this happened.
