I’m a newbie here and am not sure if I’m posting this to the right forum.
I create basic websites. I upload them to a hosting company and maintain them thru Dreamweaver on my Mac and PC. I also help others edit their sites.
I noticed on 12-4 that when I visited one of these other sites hxxp://bluedoorart.org (using Firefox), Norton warned me that it had stopped a malicious toolkit download. I contacted the site host, but she didn’t see anything wrong. I don’t know if she’ll fix it.
I am very relieved to be protected when browsing (thanks Norton!) , but am worried about the fact that I have access to this site thru Dreamweaver, and that this malware may get into my computer thru Dreamweaver and will infect the other sites I have backed up on my computer.
How do I check? And is my Mac (X) safe from this?
