Microsoft has released the next version of Windows 10 called "21H1", or the May 2021 Update, and it is available to users running Windows 10 2004 or later as an optional update in Windows Update.
The Windows 10 21H1 feature update is a very small release and does not bring too many new features. However, it does come with performance and security enhancements that will improve the operating system's overall experience, making it worth installing.
Microsoft is first making Windows 10 21H1 available as an optional update to "seekers," or those who manually perform a check for new updates, running Windows 10 2004 or later. Microsoft will later make it available to further Windows 10 users after being tested with a smaller group at first.

All my machines are now running a mix of 20H2 and 21H1 with KB5003214 installed. Just read this article about the mentioned KB over on Bleeping Computer. I haven't seen the issue appear on any of my machines, ALL have the News and Interests widget disabled. Anyone seeing the issue their side?

My bad!
Dust collector: now 20H2 (19042.1023)
Thanks for the info, however the point was missed that I was attempting to make. ALL my machines were already on 19042.985. Two of them DID NOT install nor were they offered (KB5003214) and WERE offered the 20H1 feature update. Those two now are still not offered (KB5003214) when seeking and it is not a throttled release. My other machines, a mix of Intel powered and AMD powered were offered (KB5003214) and are still not seeing 21H1 when seeking. ONLY the two Intel machines with CLEAN INSTALLS were. Hope that clarifies a bit as it is strange from where I sit.

Daily rider: 20H2 (19042.985) Windows Update > offering Feature update to Windows 10, version 21H1.
Dust collector: 20H2 (19042.985) Windows Update > offering Optional 2021-05 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 10 Version 20H2 (KB5003214)
Reading what has been posted thus far, just wanted to add what I am seeing take place on my machines. For the record, none of my machines have ever had any upgrade blocks against them that I am aware. Key word there is "aware' . I have a mixed bag of Intel and AMD powered machines, none are less than quad-core nor do they have less than 16gb memory. All but one have an SSD as the boot drive. To date, doing "seeking' for the 21H1 update, and all machines were fully updated for that, I have only managed to succeed in getting 21H1 on two machines. BOTH, have clean installs of Windows 10 Pro and were brought to build 19042.985 via the initial install with the media creation tool. BOTH, had the factory and all other partions removed and the drives formatted prior to Window Pro install. What is weird still, is ALL the other systems not seeing the 21H1 offering, are on build 19042.1023 which is (KB5003214) stated as "Release Preview Channel". NONE of these machines are part of the Windows Insider Program. Anyone seeing similar?

Microsoft last week officially rolled out Windows 10 21H1 without much fanfare — and (so far) without any major issues. Here are some things to keep in mind if you’re moving ahead with the install.

Our approach to update availability and rollout
In the current environment, we know that you continue to rely on your PCs more than ever. As a result, we are initially taking a measured seeker-based approach to the rollout of the May 2021 Update. We are throttling availability up over the coming weeks to ensure a reliable download experience for all, so the update may not be offered to you right away. Additionally, some devices might have a compatibility issue for which a safeguard hold is in place. In these cases, we will not offer the update until we are confident that you will have a good update experience.
