For those who have upgraded to version 2004, please read this MS article if you are having issues with constant password requests. Originally reported back in April 2020 with an insider build, the issue has since evolved and resurfaced in a number of users machines with the latest Windows 2004 version upgrade. It isn't known whether this is the cause of other issues with other software installs, browser extensions. etc.

Thanks -- I must look into this since for some time I get repeated "Notifications" that MS has a problem with my accunt and can fix it if I click .... and it does for a while.
Today when I booted it up it accepted my PIN and brought up my desktop but after a few moments threw up a screen message that it could not log in and needed to try again "probably a problem with passwords" and clicking on the OK it did log in OK but I see the Notification is back.
