Hi SoulAsylum I had this occur on a friends computer with the last 2 windows updates with a failure to install and revert to previous windows restore point. I had to remote to the computer and pause windows update for 7 days . we will see what happens in about a week https://www.techspot.com/news/84439-latest-windows-10-update-causes-system-slowdowns-crashes.html#commentsOffset
Funny that this morning, I booted up my laptop and got a screen where it was installing an update. None were pending at shutdown last night. KB4551762 is installed on all my machines and we are not seeing any issues thus far. This morning screen is worrisome in that I cannot find its nature or what it was for in the event logs.
Cheers
