@PatriciaA_McQueen Although I am not a Norton employee, I can say that Norton still supports operating systems as old as Windows 7 SP 1, they have not, to date, stated they will be dropping Windows 10 when it goes EOL ( end of life and support ) in a few days. The market share for Windows 10 is still high, that is lost business if they should make that rash decision without a great justification for dropping as well as dropping other older OS’s at the same time.

That being said please be aware that, the older operating systems still supported by Norton are not getting security updates from Microsoft on a regular basis, if ever. Microsoft has historically, provided updates for those when the national security interests outweigh not doing so.

You can stay patched to a high level with Opatch as they offer micro patching as a service. It is totally FREE for personal use. I have HIGHLY recommended this to all my private customers who cannot afford a new PC/laptop or just don’t like the way Windows 11 is crammed full of AI trash and does intrusive data collection just to use it.
