Windows 10 (Windows 7 backup) fails due to Norton 360 lock on EFI

Hello all. Starting back in about May of this year when I run a Create System Image (windows 7 version) on my Windows 10 computer the backup fails because cannot get an exclusive lock on the EFI partition. This happens on the files and libraries portion of the backup, NOT the System Image portion. From what I can tell it fails probably in some file(s) in the APPDATA folder. Prior to that date it has worked for years.

If I turn off auto protect in Norton 360 antivirus settings the backup works just fine.

Details of the error are in the attachment.

Thanks all.

Hello Elvis99. Personally I would use Macrium Reflect to perform a system image vice a backup. Its free, far faster and very user friendly. Norton doesn't give me any issues using it on both Windows 10 and 11 OS's.

Sorry, to be clear. I am running the Windows 7 version of the back including both Files/Libraries AND System Image options. Both run in one session. Also it may not be in the Files part but could be during the early part of System Image portion. Can't really tell as it flies by so fast on the screen as I watch the details page...

Thanks again.
