Does Norton Internet Security have a solution to the "Windows Recovery" virus? I search and find other products the report to eliminate this virus, but I don't trust them. I only trust Norton but I can't find a solution from Norton.
This is an example of the virus I am reporting ( i have not use this solution)...

Thanks for the help..
Hi mshenhouse,
BleepingComputer is a well-respected malware removal site and we often recommend the removal guides posted there, as they are very good and up to date. They also have a malware remediation forum if you run into trouble:

THe instructions says to download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware software. I was hoping Norton has software that would remove this virus.
Hello mshenhouse
The free version of Malwarebytes is a good program and is often recommended in this Forum. No one Antivirus program can catch and remove all malware. Since each of these programs have different engines, they tend to look for different things. Some of these malwares can mutate very rapidly and it may get thru your Norton product. Malwarebytes is a good on demand scanner which may find things that Norton misses. Thanks.
Hi
Just my 2 cents
Norton does have a tool named Norton Power Eraser, which may solve the issue
But
running fixing found items with the tool is dangerous,a wrong fix can make your Pc unbootable or cause problem/errors in windows
hence Norton Power Eraser is a tool to be run by a person with proper knowledge,It should be run if instructed by an Expert.
