I have a problem application (not Norton) on my Windows7 (x64) system that I want to uninstall via Windows Control Panel, Uninstall a Program.
The application is known for leaving registry entries behind, so after running the uninstall I would like to utilize the Windows Restore utility to go back (3 days) to the point right before the install to restore my registry to that point thus ensuring that it does not contain any left over registry debris from the uninstalled application.
Question is: I am running NIS 2010 - will NIS function properly after a Windows Restore Point operation?
