Won't let me "ignore" passcode requirement iPad

Issue abstract: Don’t want passcode on iPad

Detailed description: I have Norton 360 on my iPad Pro for years. I had it set up to “ignore” the fact that I do not have a passcode on my iPad (it never leaves my home and I’m the only one with access to it). I just did an update to iOS to version 26. After the update the warning on Norton about my passcode came back and now I can’t find any way to set it to “ignore”. There are three dots (…) next to the warning but when I touch them the program closes. How do I make it ignore the fact that there is no passcode?

Product & version number: Norton 360 Premium, ver 2.121.0.20250904.1725

OS details: iOS 26

I have not made the jump to iOS 26 yet. Still waiting for initial bugs to be fixed.

In your 360 app, tap on the menu icon at the bottom of the screen. Then tap on Device Security. If the detection for no passcode is there, there should be an Ignore button.

FYI. Just because you only use the iPad at home, what if you have a break in and your iPad is stolen?

Followed your instructions, but there is no ignore button.

Maybe something got changed by the upgrade to iOS 26. Try uninstalling 360, restart the device, and then reinstall 360 and test.
