Yahoo keeps hijacking my searches

Issue abstract:
yahoo keeps hijacking my search engine. I keep defaulting my search engine to goolgle but then it is redirected to yahoo. I have read on line this is malware. Why doesn’t norton find this and remove it. I also don’t want Nortons web stuff. I WANT TO USE GOOGLE.
