Hi Guys,
I know I said I'd stay out of the logs and I have been doing better. Today, though, I saw something which puzzled me.
In my history, there's a log item that says "You created firewall rules to manage how SelfUpdateLauncher accesses your network resources." I know these entries are typical and just the firewall doing its job, but when I click for details, it gives me the path of SelfUpdateLauncher.exe in an Intel folder. When I go to that folder, the exe is not in the list of items (even if I change the folder settings to display hidden files).
Should be concerned that Norton logged an EXE accessing the internet that I can't locate? This all happened shortly after I installed a bunch of Windows updates, but the time stamp is about 7 minutes after the updates finished configuring. Also, when I scanned the folder the exe file is supposed to be in with NIS, Community Watch submitted a bunch of statistical submissions from the folder. They all said they were exonerated, and normally I don't worry about the NCW submissions, but it's making me twitchy.
Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!
