A VPN does not block anything. What you seem to be seeing is many web sites do not allow access from known VPN IP addresses. They do this for copyright, legal, security, and political reasons. There is nothing a VPN provider can or should do to circumvent these legal protections. See this How to Geeks article. https://www.howtogeek.com/403771/why-do-some-websites-block-vpns/ .
What changed over the last week or so? The website may have updated the list of known VPN IP addresses. You would need to contact YouTube Support to see if they block VPNs.
Thanks. I went to the link and all of my settings are correct on my PC. I can access Youtube on my IPad but not on my PC or IPhone. I get the same error, “Sign in to confirm you’re not a bot”. Also, my VPN ad Tracker Blocking is on off. I also have the same problem with accessing Ticketmaster. I have to turn off the VPN.
Turning off “Ad blocking” does nothing. This began a few weeks ago.
Plus, the system has back doors where someone is able to shut off the VPN, and the “Switch Internet Off” is disabled as well. It happened a couple of times to day and it has happened in the past. Mostly with the mobile App. Hackers paradise.
I have called support twice on this problem. I have to turn off the VPN to watch youtube. They escalated it and promised to callback but never did. I have sent a couple bad reviews but no response. Its been over a month now. I assume they cannot fix it since the answers on this board are evasive. If no one contacts me regarding my 2 open cases #89088470 and 88790135 I have no choice but to find switch to another vendor after this subscription expires.
