Activity not being logged

Hello,

I am no longer receiving activity updates on my daughters computer.  The paw is missing from her login page although it is on mine.   It all justed stopped on 9/25 and I have not been able to get it going again.  All the settings appear in order and I have gone through your on-line help to no avail.  Do I just need to uninstall and start over?

My activity isn't being monitored since yesterday afternoon.  It's worked fine until recently but now has stopped recording website visits again!  It shows we're online, but no activity to report.   It may not be a problem with someone changing your settings and it more likely an issue with the software.  I have the latest version, and even removed and reinstalled the program with no success.

I am having the exact same problem.  Things were working fine until yesterday, and then actiity logging stopped working.  I installed the latest version of the Norton Safety Minder, but it is still not working. My son is using Windows 7 and Google Chrome.

Please provide the information to help us to resolve the issue.

 

1. Type of Operating System and version(for example, Windows XP SP3, Vista Home Premium SP1, etc…)

2.Type of Web Browser and version(for example, IE8, Firefox 10, etc)

 

3. Norton Safety Minder Version (you can determine this by clicking on the Norton Safety Minder icon in the System tray and selecting About Norton Safety Minder).

I really need help…I am overseas and had downloaded and installed the software on my son’s computer and couple of weeks ago. It says connected but I am not getting any activity or information. Please help. I thought it was simple to install but it just doesn’t seem to work.

Same problem here; had this installed on two computers, one each for my kids:

 

* kid1 @ pc1 (vista home basic 32-bit, chrome)

 

* kid2  @ pc2 (win7 home premium 32-bit, chrome)

 

Everything works ok for kid2, but doesn't for kid1 suddenly. I had a mobile account for kid1 as well, but I am going to delete that...

 

Can it be fixed?

You said PC1 suddenly doesn't work, so I assume the PC did work before.  Do you still see the Norton Safety Minder icon in the system tray active (not disabled)?

 

Do you see the child's profile online is protected (in green)?'

 

Do you see any other activities, like time restrictions monitored?

 

Please also make sure the child can't create a new Windows account that is not monitored by not giving his Windows account with Administrative rights.

False alarm, the issue was due to something entirely different. Everything is ok now.
