Cannot Access Local or Cloud Backup - spinning blue circle

Issue abstract: Get spinning blue circle when trying to open “Cloud Backup”

Detailed description: 1. I click on my Norton icon in the System Tray, it opens; 2. under Home, I click on Cloud Backup; 3. I then click on Open Cloud Backup, I get a spinning blue circle and it sits there until I close the Norton window or otherwise exit that page.

Product & version number: Norton 360 Premium

OS details: Windows 11 Pro 24H2, fully up to date

What is the error message you are seeing? A SPINNING BLUE CIRCLE THAT DOES NOT GO AWAY

If you have any supporting screenshots, please add them:

and you’ve tried Norton LiveUpdate + Restart (not Shut down) machine?
and you’ve tried Norton 360 → Sign Out → Sign In?
and you’ve tried Norton 360 → Troubleshooting?

Isn’t the software supposed to just work as advertised? I’m irritated enough that it didn’t recognize my prior NORTON_BACKUP on my external hard drive. After rebooting my computer (not slow), the blue circles persist in showing up but at least they go away after some amount of time. I wasn’t going to wait more than 15 seconds watching, I have other things that need to be done than watch a spinning circle.

as advertised?
maybe, Record a performance issue → Record Issue

We’re all hoping Norton publishes and maintains an online, current, in-depth, indexed, searchable, illustrated/videos…Norton 360 User Guide

That would be helpful. I now have two Cloud backup sets that are obsolete and need to be deleted but no instructions on how to do that. There is no trashcan in the Cloud Backup page. Good user guides are hard to come by.

does backup set need to be deleted report Manage or Restore?
for example:

and you’ve tried trashcan online?
