I have Norton LifeLock. They have been backing up my files for a long time. I recently lost most of my data on my hard disk. I have been trying to restore all the files that Norton was backing up. NOTHING WORKS. I cannot get chat with an assistant at Norton to work. I am at a total loss and do not know what to do.

Are you United States?
Have you installed 360 on your computer? If so, you just need to start the Restore function of the Backup feature. In the What tab, you look for the location where your backups were stored.
